Have you got too many things running around in your mind each and every day? Do you want to get clarity? Well this episode is for you.

Each and every day we have so much to remember, we have so much to think about. And so much of that time the things that are taking up our brain space are not really that important, or shouldn't be taking space from important items that will drive our business and that we need to complete in our personal lives

In this episode, the I am sharing a piece of wisdom that she learned from one of her clients, which is to treat every decision as either a "yes" or a "no" and eliminate "maybes". And the most amazing thing is that this can be applied to both personal life and business, making things clear and helping with decision-making.

I share an exercise that I recently learned which will help you keep your eyes on what needs to happen and what is important, it will help you get straight

S4 Ep32: If you are only posting hair pics

SHOWNOTES

Posting pictures of finished hair is beautiful. In this weeks episode of the 10 Minute Beauty Business Podcast I am explaining why the context is so important in your social media posts when marketing your business. While hair pictures can showcase your work, it is crucial to provide additional information about your salon, space, and services to make a more significant impact on clients and potential guests. The episode stresses the significance of considering what your clients and potential guests want to see and feel when they interact with your content.

I want to encourage you to post content that conveys more than hair pictures. Try introducing yourself and your salon to create deeper connections. Remember your WHY, why you do what you do, you are creating content that is emotionally engaging, prompting potential and current clients to take action book an appointment.

Enjoy the episode!

S4 Ep30: heart-centered business: what it means

blog podcast Mar 27, 2023

SHOWNOTES

Doing good while making money is possible and can be a rewarding experience. Through intentional business practices, such as donating to charities or volunteering, businesses can give back to the community while still making a profit. By supporting underprivileged youth, businesses can make a lasting impact on the lives of young people and help create a brighter future for them. Additionally, businesses can bring awareness to important causes and help raise funds for those in need.

At the same time, businesses must be careful not to become too distracted by these activities. It is important to ensure that clients are not neglected and that the business remains profitable. By striking a balance between doing good and making money, businesses can make a positive impact on the world while still being successful.

I experienced this firsthand when working at a salon. We decided to support a local youth venture center and raised money for their Christmas...

S4 Ep28: how to batch content - the easy way

blog podcast Mar 12, 2023

SHOWNOTES

Creating content for social media can be overwhelming, especially if you are trying to do it every day. That is why batch creating your social media content is a great way to simplify the process and ensure that you are staying on track with your strategy.

Batch creating social media content means that you plan out your content in advance and create it all at once. This way, you can have content ready to go for days or even weeks at a time. To do this, you should first determine your content pillars. These are three to five ideas that help you stay focused and strategic with your content. For example, if you are a hair salon, your content pillars could include your services, team, and community, and tutorials or tips.

Once you have your content pillars in place, you can create content for each one. This could be anything from inspiring posts about your services to spotlighting clients or team members. You can also include tutorials or tips to educate...

S4 Ep27: why you need reviews for your biz

blog podcast Mar 05, 2023

SHOWNOTES

Online reviews of business have been around since 1999, this format of allowing your customers to rate you after they have an experience in your salon can be daunting, but it can be amazing, trust me. In this episode I am diving into the importance of reviews in your business and what you can do with them.

At Ooh La La we currently have a 5 star YELP rating, which I am very grateful to my wonderful team for. What this 5 star does for us is it is social proof that we are a Salon that you should want to visit, what it does is it tells others what services we provide and the value of travelling to visit us for your beauty treatments.

This social proof is what reviews is all about. This creates an organic reach that is unbelievably valuable to your business. Remember this social proof is what potential new clients will look for before they make a decision to part with their money for whatever service you provide. This social proof and organic reach will give you...
